Pinehill School is looking forward to celebrating 25 years of service to our community in 2022.

We are very excited to invite all past learners, teachers, staff, Board members and the wider community to join us in celebrating this milestone achievement with us.

Below you will find all the details for the confirmed celebration events as well as being able to purchase merchandise and register your

2022 Art Exhibition & 25th Anniversary alumni reunion – Tuesday 20th September, 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Art Exhibition Wine & Cheese, Tuesday 20th September, 6:00 pm

An opportunity for past students, whanau, staff and community members to catch up with others, mix and mingle, view current students’ art, Pinehill class photos wall (photos from foundation year to current) and photos over the years. Bring some old photos to reminisce.

At 6:30 pm student leaders will take groups for a tour through classrooms and around our school.

25th Anniversary – Top Playground Opening – Thursday 22nd September, 12:00 pm

An opportunity for current students, whanau, staff and community members to celebrate our new ‘Top Playground’ opening. This is a 25th-anniversary gift to Pinehill School from the Board of Trustees.

25th Anniversary School Assembly Celebration & Open Hour – Friday 23rd September, 11:00 am
  • 11 am Whakatau welcome and ceremony 
  • Speeches from all three Principals (Julien, Tracey, Carla) 
  • Entertainment performances by our talented students including Kapa Haka, Marimba Group and School band
  • Memories and stories from past students, staff members and community members 
  • Time capsule snapshots to current 25 Birthday capsule slideshow
  • Pinehill Way Song
  • Singing Happy Birthday/cutting of the cake (cake to the hall foyer – people can take the cake on tour or enjoy it after touring with House leaders.
  • 12:00pm – House Leaders to lead tours through the school. Classrooms will be open as part of the tour. Visit your “old room”
  • Photo display memories in the hall and foyer
  • Informal group photos
  • Merchandise will be available to purchase or collect if pre-ordered
  • A coffee cart will be available on the day
