Recent Highlights and Upcoming Events
Athletics Our Year 5/6 team had a fantastic athletics day out on the field last week. Students had so much fun putting their Physical Education practice into action—competing in shot put, discus, long jump, and sprints. We were so proud to see everyone giving it their best, showing Te Māia – Resilience—our Pinehill Way spotlight for this term.
Unfortunately, the Year 3/4 athletics day was postponed due to wet, stormy weather. We are now looking forward to holding it on Monday, 10th November. As always, whānau and family members are warmly invited to come along to support and cheer our tamariki as they showcase their athletic skills.
KidsCan Mufti Day We have a mufti day at Pinehill this Thursday, 6th November! Students are encouraged to wear mufti and bring a gold coin (or a few!) for donation. All money collected will go to KidsCan, a local charity that supports over 60,000 children across New Zealand with lunches, school shoes, coats, and more.
Room 22 We are excited to welcome four new entrant students and their families to Pinehill on Monday, our second cohort of students to start in Room 22 this year. Welcome to Pinehill School! It is important to us that your transition to our school is as smooth as possible. If there’s anything you need to know, please pop in and ask. No question is ever too small.
