Tēnā Koutou! I am a proud mum of four fabulous boys.  Supporting them in everything they do has been a significant part of my life.  As a parent, I understand the importance of a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages growth and celebrates success.

In my teaching practice, I strongly believe in the power of student voice.  Each child brings a unique perspective and set of strengths to the classroom, and I strive to create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and heard.  Building resilience is another core value I hold dear.  Challenges and setbacks are a natural part of the learning process. I like to empower my students to overcome obstacles and develop a sense of perseverance and determination by promoting a growth mindset and teaching problem-solving skills.  I strive to create a classroom community where every child feels a strong sense of belonging.

“The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be ignited”.
