Sacha Walsh

Kia ora. My name is Sacha Walsh, and I am excited to welcome families to the
New Entrant class in Room 12 and to become a part of the Pinehill School community.

My husband and I have two children, now in their early twenties. As a family, we enjoy watching sports and spending our summer holidays camping near the beach in our caravan. I also enjoy walking adventures with friends.

I have been teaching for 11 years now, predominantly in Year 0 or 1, and love the feeling of being able to make a difference. In the classroom, I am passionate about creating a learning environment that instils confidence, develops problem-solving skills, and inspires children to keep on trying. I believe in creating a safe and nurturing space that is inclusive and engaging for all students and welcoming for all families. Most of all, my aim is to ensure the children of Room 12 have a happy and positive start to
their learning journey.
